The Alliance has produced the world premiere of Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, a haunting new musical with music and lyrics by John Mellencamp &  book by Stephen King. Prepare for a riveting Southern gothic musical fraught with mystery, tragedy, and phantoms of the past, along with a roots and blues-tinged score. Alliance Artistic Director Susan V. Booth directs, with musical direction provided by legendary producer T Bone Burnett. In the tiny town of Lake Belle Reve, MS in 1967, a terrible tragedy took the lives of two brothers and a beautiful young girl. Saturday, May 12 - Peachtree Road Farmer's Market

Now in its sixth year, Peachtree Road Farmers Market is the largest producer-only farmers market in the state. Producer-only means that everything at the Market has been grown, raised, or made by the seller, ensuring fair prices for both the vendors and the consumers. Saturday, May 12 - Kids' Fishing Day - Bring Your Mom Out

Start the Mothers Day weekend off right by taking your mom fishing. Be sure to promise her that you'll bait the hook! Tom and Huck didn't use fancy fishing gear on the Mississippi. Fishing poles made of river cane with a cork bobber and a hook on the end of the line waiting to be baited will be provided. You may hook a catfish, bream, or bass. The Drive-Thru Farmers' Market is a Fundraiser!  Each Thursday, the $10 Vendors' Fees are passed-though to the Mustard Seed Communities. Product Categories: OFP limits the market to local products, produce, artists and businesses.  OFP defines local as being within a 8 hour drive to OFP's area. Vendors sell local fresh produce, cheeses, spiced nuts, baked goods, cookies, jewelry, arts, crafts, pickles, salsas, breads, aromatherapy, hand-made natural soaps, gifts, vinagrettes, and more!

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 teaspoon vanilla extract - divided
8 slices whole grain bread bread
2 bananas, sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon dark rum or rum extract - optional
powdered sugar
