Looking for inexpensvie movie fun this summer? Here is a list of some of the summer movie series that have been announced. This does not included all free movies in parks (since most aren't weekly - check the weekly calendar for those special events). There are more summer movie series at theatre chains (like Regal - not including Regal Hollywood or Atlantic Station), but since they don't include any intown locations, I have not included most of them in this listing.

 

Town Brookhaven Free Movies on the Town
It's the 4th Annual Movies on the Town series at Town Brookhaven Thursdays, June 2nd – July 21st! Sponsored by SkinnyPop! Movies begin at dusk! Arrive early, grab dinner from one of the restaurants and eat on the green space. Pick up a flyer listing Thursday evening specials from our merchants. Areas are designated for blankets and chairs. Please no pets, outside food/drinks or coolers.

Atlantic Station Free Movies in Central Park 
Nothing says summertime like watching your favorite movie under the stars and in the glow of the Atlanta skyline! Movies in Central Park runs every Thursday evening through July 28, 2016. Blankets and chairs are allowed. Feel free to make this the ultimate picnic by bringing your own grub or grabbing food from your favorite Atlantic Station restaurant beforehand.

Dodd After Dark - a FLICKS Summer Movie Series
Dodd After Dark is back in 2016 with three movies, kicking off with Zootopia on May 21. The summer series is FREE. Due to ongoing field maintenance at Bobby Dodd Stadium, the first installment of the series will be at Mewborn Field, the home of Georgia Tech Softball located at the corner of Fowler Street and 8th Street adjacent to McCamish Pavilion.

Gates open will open one hour prior to the start of the movie. Concessions will be available. Parking for the screening on Mewborn Field (May 21) will be available in E65 (McCamish/Zelnak lot).

"Zootopia" - Saturday, May 21 at 9 p.m. ET at Mewborn Field
"Star Wars" - Friday, July 8 at Bobby Dodd Stadium
"The Jungle Book" - Saturday, July 30 at Bobby Dodd Stadium

Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival at the Fox
All tickets are general admission and are now on sale.  Tickets, with the exception of the specialty movie listed below, are $8 if purchased before June 1!  On June 1, ticket prices will change to $10 and $12 on the day of show.

Specialty Movie Ticket Pricing
“Disney’s The Little Mermaid” (Sing-along) is Reserved Seating only.  Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of show. Additional fees may apply.
