The campaign’s mission is to provide homeless children and children living in group homes with the book bags and school supplies they need to succeed in school. CLICK HERE to access the list.

“‘Stuff the Bus’ gives children in need a fresh start as they return to school,” said Tim McVay, Vice President and General Manager for Channel 2 WSB-TV. “With the proper school supplies in hand, they enter that first day with a chance to better fit in with the rest of the kids. Something as simple as a book bag, calculator or binder can really make a difference.”

The Children’s Restoration Network says last year every school-aged child living in a shelter or group home throughout the 20 county Greater Atlanta area received a brand new, filled book bag.  This year, we hope you’ll help us collect more than 6,000 new book bags and school supplies.

Channel 2 Action News will be covering the campaign throughout the day on Saturday. Viewers can also follow the station’s coverage on its Facebook page, on Twitter (Hashtag: #StufftheBus), and Instagram.
