Extended Care: 8 am – 9 am & 4 pm – 6:15 pm, no additional fees apply

CAMP DESCRIPTION
Camp Kingfisher days are packed-full of traditional outdoor activities, environmental education, and a lot of FUN! Activities include live animal encounters, swimming, educational hikes, outdoor games, eco-crafts, and so much more! Campers almost always agree that their FAVORITE activity is canoeing. Our 3 ACA Certified Staff Members ensure your child learns basic paddling safety and more challenging canoeing skills. One special time in the week is the age group “All-Camp” activity. Age groups gather for luaus, group orienteering challenges, or another creation of our awesome counselors. Weekly schedules are carefully planned to encourage personal growth, teamwork, and environmental stewardship in campers.
Garden-loving campers should consider our NEW GROW Camp, a specialty camp session focused on harvesting veggies, caring for chickens, and connecting to the mission of CNC’s Kaiser Permanente Unity Garden.
Travel Program is Camp Kingfisher’s adventure based camp for rising 8th and 9th graders. Camper favorites include spelunking through caverns in Northwestern Georgia, whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, recreational tree-climbing, freshwater snorkeling, and visiting waterfalls in North Georgia. Campers will get the chance to cook a rustic dinner, pitch tents, and make a campfire in the NEW offsite camping trip to a Georgia State Park!
