So what's in February? Well, Monday is Groundhog Day for starters. I sure hope Punxsutawney Phil doesn't see his shadow. We may have not have had the coldest of winters so far this year, but my family has been less than healthy. And I know we aren't alone - fever virus, stomach flu, head colds.... yuck! Some clean, spring air is exactly what we need... not to mention extended daylight hours.
Spring WILL be here before you know it, so if you want to get your "winter" activities in, you still have a few weeks to do so at SNOW MOUNTAIN at Stone Mountain Park, Ice Skating at rinks including Atlantic Station, Park Tavern at Piedmont Park, and the new Avalon in Alpharetta, to name a few. Or you could skip town and head somewhere like Sapphire Valley for the weekend and ski (see my article below!).
If you want to stay inside, I highly recommend seeing what the metro area has to offer with theatre and performing arts. There are some GREAT family shows playing right now, and it's the perfect time to enjoy one. WICKED and TUCK EVERLASTING are tops on my list!
In our household, we're gearing up for baseball season - "tryouts" for Little League are only a week away!! It's that time again...but I'm looking forward to evenings at the ballpark. WARM evenings anyway.
WINNERS!! WINNERS!
Congrats to the winners of last week's giveaways!

Have a great weekend and say goodbye to January!
