MORE INFO
Founded in 1986 on 20 acres of land, the Georgia Renaissance Festival has grown into a 100-acre theme park filled with charming cottages and castles, kitchens and pubs, and an unusual collection of people powered rides and games of skill - all just minutes south of Atlanta, Georgia.  The Georgia Renaissance Festival is the largest Renaissance festival in the Southeast. Over 150 artisans display and demonstrate their wares in our Artisan Market, and we present a continuous schedule of music, comedy, juggling, and amazing feats of skill on 10 stages every festival day. There is truly something for adults and children of all ages to enjoy – all day long! One of the highlights of any festival day is the Jousting Tournament.

Visitors can experience the clashing of steel and the thundering of hooves daily with three full combat jousts at the Royal Tournament Arena. Renaissance festivals are one of the most interactive entertainment shows ever created with wonderful amusements and antics ongoing all around you! You can sit back and watch, or become part of the action. The village lanes are full of costumed characters – royalty, peasants, and street entertainers – all ready to surprise and delight you with tall tales, songs, jokes and tricks.
