BUCKHEAD. Fabricate Studios offers a modern learning environment teaching traditional skills-based crafts such as sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet, and weaving. Our experienced instructors are true masters of their craft and have decades of teaching experience with both adults and children.
Half day summer camps (morning and afternoons) are available throughout the summer and include Beginner Sewing, Fashion Design, Knitting, Photography and more.
TINY CRAFTERS is exclusively for 6-year-olds. This is the perfect introduction to sewing while focusing on the fun.
BEGINNER SEWING CAMP is for ages 7+. Campers will learn how to use a sewing machine and all the proper tools while making a number of projects. Each Beginner Sewing Camp is themed, so kids can attend more than once and never repeat a project. Themes include doll sewing, unicorns, beach week, rainbows, and back to school.
BEGINNER FASHION DESIGN is for ages 7+. Campers will get to practice their sketching skills, create a mood board and make several fun apparel projects during camp. Every Beginner Fashion Design Camp focuses on different garment patterns, so kids can attend more than one week of camp and never repeat a project.

INTERMEDIATE FASHION DESIGN campers should already be comfortable using a sewing machine, understand basic sewing terminology and have the ability to sew beginner projects with minimal to no oversight. In this camp, our specific focus will be on garment making. We’ll be using patterns, learning to take proper measurements and focus on our finishing skills.
ADVANCED FASHION DESIGN CAMP is the most advanced sewing camp that we offer at Fabricate Studios. Students should be comfortable sewing from a pattern, have experience working with fabrics that have some stretch, and be comfortable sewing independently at home with no oversight. In this camp, our specific focus will be on garment making. We’ll be using patterns, making tweaks to get a great fit, and using 4-way stretch fabrics. Camp themes for 2019 Advanced Fashion Design Camp are Active Wear and Swimwear.
BEGINNER KNITTING CAMP is for ages 7+. Knitting is a skill that has to be repeated frequently until you "get it" and we've found summer camp is the *perfect* amount of repetition for kids to really pick up the skill and retain it once they're on their own at home.
BEGINNER PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP. This camp is split into two age groups, 7 to 11 and 12+. Campers will get exposure (pun intended) to using a digital camera, lighting techniques, composition basics, photography art projects and more! We’ll explore some of our surroundings, find interesting objects to play with, use found objects or junk in new ways and each day we will print at least one photograph to take home.
