Toys”R”Us and Candytopia joined forces to create a really cool and fun play experience called Toys”R”Us Adventure. This place transports the littlest guests and those who are still young at heart into a giant toy-filled playground that encourages everyone to unleash their inner child. Toys”R”Us Adventure collaborated with leading toy brands Melissa & Doug, Schleich Toys, and Spin Master’s popular PAW Patrol brand to develop eight multi-sensory interactive playrooms and installations.

We had a chance to experience Toys”R”Us Adventure with our daughter and her friend. It was non-stop fun for the girls and they are begging to return! From the moment we walked into Toys“R”Us Adventure Train Station, the friendly “Toytopians” greeted us with candy whistle pops and invited us to explore and take pictures with the giant stuffed animals and the train. This is also where they will invite you to sign-up for the adventurecam.app QR code, so you can take photos at designated stations. The photos come out so cute and will be sent to your e-mail. The best part is they are FREE!

The first room is the train car room, where guests will help power the train to get to Toys”R”Us Adventure. The second room is the Melissa & Doug Big and Small playroom. We are huge fans of M&D toys, so my daughter felt right at home with all giant wooden toys and stuffed animals. They even had a giant strawberry swing, wooden pizza with toppings, a xylophone, and slide. Don’t miss the adventure cam photo opp in this room. Oh and of course, the Toytopians will invite you to take some candy before you enter the next room.

Note: Once you move into the next room, there’s no turning back.

There’s a secret passage to room three which leads to the zipline platform. You glide along mirrored walls with rainbow lighting then land into a foam pit. Definitely a must-do for everyone! And you can ride it multiple times!

After ziplining, the girls played and put out fires with foam balls in PAW Patrol’s Adventure Bay. They have a life-size Lookout Tower with a slide and an area to view some clips from the show. Don’t forget the adventure cam photo opp in Marshall's fire truck.

In the Huff and Puff room, think The 3 Little Pigs story, Toytopians encouraged the girls to choose their materials to build the strongest house. Did the Big Bad Wolf succeed in blowing our house down? You’ll have to try for yourself!

If you love a good dance party then the Fairytale Disco room is perfect for you! The girls loved showing off their dance moves with the DJ and taking pictures with statue characters in the dungeon. But one of their favorite rooms was the Monster Obstacle Course. I got tired just watching my young ninjas in training. There wasn’t a big crowd, but be careful with little ones running around in this area.

The Schleich Jungle Adventure room was pretty cool with all the animals, wooden bridge and slide. Don’t miss the photo op with the T-Rex. The Polar Vortex was the final playroom experience. The girls loved throwing fake snow all over the place and at each other. Don’t run in this area or you’ll slip on the confetti snow. The adventure ends at the Center of the Toy Universe Gift Shop filled with toys, candy, and ToysRUs branded items.

Toys"R"US Adventure is a pop-up play wonderland, and best enjoyed for kids 3-10 years of age. The little ones will need some adult assistance in the rooms. The older kids will have fun, but will probably go through the rooms faster. My girls were in that sweet spot (ages 6-7) where they could enjoy everything without assistance. It's not about the toys, it's about the experience. I know from the smiles, giggles, and squeals from my girls that this is one place they will remember! So go and relive some memories from your childhood and make new ones with your family at Toys”R”us Adventure!
