What a crazy year and Thanksgiving is just around the corner! We usually head to my parent's house for a fabulous home-cooked holiday feast. Of course, because it's 2020, let's throw in shoulder surgery for my mom on top of the pandemic. Thankfully, her surgery was successful and she can have this year off from kitchen duty. Now Thanksgiving is all on me! Woo Hoo!

| DeKalb County Government partnered with Walmart to provide $20 gift cards for turkey or ham during its monthly food distribution event. On Saturday, November 21, Dekalb County will host three drive-through food distribution events during which 2,500 DeKalb residents will receive one 20-pound box of fruit and vegetables and a $20 gift card for ham or turkey. Beginning at 10 a.m., COVID-19 Care Baskets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, at three locations:
