Atlanta Youth Rugby (AYR)’s mission is to build character and athleticism while fostering diversity, sportsmanship and community in a fun, safe, and inclusive atmosphere.
We operate all over Atlanta serving nearly 3000 kids annually. 45% of our young ruggers are female, 80% identify as ethnic minority, and 85% are from under-resourced zip codes.
Many youth players find themselves lacking in cleats and proper equipment. AYR is dedicated to outfitting everyone. Throughout June, AYR is hosting a cleat drive to help underserved ruggers in the Atlanta community get on the field and play the greatest team sport!
With the community’s help, we can provide cleats to many deserving kids who want to play. Donate online or bring a pair of new or gently worn cleats and join us on June 19th at 8 PM as we watch Rugby ATL take on Houston at home. If you have cleats to donate but cannot make the game? Little Ruggers (COED - Ages 5 to 7)

Learn fun fundamentals, body control, character traits and have a blast with our expert coaching staff! Camp is non-contact with a focus on evasive running, passing, catching and flag pulling. No experience necessary.
Fun with Fundamentals (COED - Ages 7 to 10)
July 19 - July 23
Time: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
Location: PRUMC (3180 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305)
Learn the fundamentals of America's fastest-growing youth sport in a fun environment! Ruggers will focus daily on rugby skills, rugby rules, and sportsmanship, with swag (t-shirts and other prizes) awarded for character and sportsmanship traits. No tackling for ages 7-10. The week will culminate with flag-rugby scrimmages.
Rugby Skillz (COED - Ages 10 to 14)
July 26 - July 30
Time: 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Brush up on your technical skills to step up your game for the upcoming season. Taught by the best coaches in Atlanta improve your passing, attacking, body positioning, and tackling skills.
