I am extremely proud of my kid, who ran his first official road race last weekend, The Peachtree Junior in Piedmont Park. He enjoyed it so much, he's now ready to join the Atlanta Track Club's Kilometer Kids free running program (next chance to sign up is in September), and start running more races.
At the event, Drew (who is obsessed with athletic shoes) was excited by this Mizuno tent pictured above. He's even more excited to learn that there's a limited edition version of the Mizuno Wave Rider 19 available. I just wish his feet would stop growing so quickly!
