September is coming to an end, and cooler temps are on the way (or they should be)! Summer is officially over and the days are getting shorter - but with the onset of fall comes loads of festivals and fun outdoor activities in our area. Fall Break will be here soon for many of you. In Cobb County, we're off all of next week and are looking forward to our vacation time.
My family is headed to my hometown of New Orleans for part of the week, but first we'll be enjoying some of the exciting family-friendly offerings happening right here. A trip to the North Georgia State Fair perhaps, and a visit to the brand new Wildwoods and Fernbank Forest at Fernbank Museum are on our to do list. We're also going to see The Illusionists - Live from Broadway at The Fox Theatre, and my kids are super excited (be sure to check our our STEALS AND DEALS article to see how you can save on tickets).
Saturday and Sunday are the opening days for Fright fest at Six Flags Over Georgia - Halloween will be here soon!
