Summer Acting Camps at the Alliance Theatre
For more than 30 years, the Alliance Theatre’s high energy drama camps have inspired thousands of young people throughout Atlanta. From acting basics to musical theatre to acting for the camera, the Alliance Theatre’s drama camps remain one of the most popular and rewarding experiences for the young people of our community. Summer drama camps are offered June through August with one week or two week sessions. CAMP HOURS/EXTENDED CARE: Students can be dropped off in the mornings beginning at 8:15 am. End of day pick-up begins at 4:05 pm and goes through 4:30pm. After care is offered until 6pm for a $10 a day fee.

COST/LUNCH DETAILS: One week tuition $399, Two week tuition $750. Lunch is from 12pm-1pm each day. Students in the grades K-3 camps stay on campus and eat their packed lunch. Students in the grades 4-12 camps have the option of going to Colony Square for lunch or bringing a packed lunch

ADDITIONAL INFO: Camps are offered June through August. Dates and cost vary for each camp. Each camp culminates in a final showcase performance on the last Friday of the camp session at 3pm.

Rising Grades K-1:

Musical Theatre Camp (K-1) – A musical theatre based camp

Creative Drama Camp (K-1) – A stage acting based camp

 

Rising Grades 2-3:

Performing Arts Camp (Grades 2-3) – A stage acting-based camp

 

Rising Grades 4-5:

Musical Theatre Camp (Grades 4-5) – A musical theatre based camp

Performing Arts Camp (Grades 4-5) – A stage acting-based camp

 

Rising Grades 6-8:

Camera Camp (Grades 6-12) – meets Monday – Friday 9am – 12pm

Musical Theatre Camp (Grades 6-12) – A musical theatre based camp

Performing Arts Camp (Grades 6-8) – A stage acting-based camp

 

Rising grades 9-12:

Performing Arts Camp (Grades 9-12) – Camps in stage craft, stage combat, puppeteering, improve comedy, special effects makeup

Musical Theatre Camp (Grades 9-12) – A musical theatre based camp
