Camp Descriptions:

Super Science Sampler - Rising 1st and 2nd Graders - $240
A great introduction to all the science subjects - it's all here. Experiments from bugs, plants and lights to dinosaurs, planets and animals will excite you this week. Have fun as we make rainbows, launch water rockets, plant flowers and erupt volcanoes. Become a geologist and start a collection of gemstones. Explore our Earth, fossils, living things, and more as you decorate your room and refrigerator with your take home experiments. Watch Magic School Bus© during lunch and when not experimenting there will be 30 minutes of free time each day to use our science equipment or take a break with games, arts and crafts and Lego™ robotics.

C.S.I. - Cool Science Investigation - Rising 3rd and 4th Graders - $260
With experiments from field biology to forensics, campers will use clues to find out what happened in the animal world and even crime scenes. Have Fun experimenting with the F's of Forensics - Footprints, Fingerprints, Fiber analysis, and Face recognition. Discover Flora and Fauna (plant and animal) clues to examine evidence that will lead us to the facts. Get hands-on with skulls, animal tracks, and owl pellets. Touch if you dare, real sheep eyes, brains and cow hearts, and kidneys too. Get close and personal with our real bugs as we study their important role in the clues they give us about our world. Campers will be using laptops, microscopes, and field scopes. When not investigating we will have 30 minutes of free time each day with opportunity for arts and crafts, games, and Lego™ robotics. Oh and we won't forget to cool you off with our water rockets that make a hit each summer!

Ph-inally Ph-un Physics - Rising 5th and 6th Graders - $240
This is for the budding scientist who wants more! With an emphasis on fun discovery, campers will discover concepts building on some of their favorite science subjects. Learn the cool stuff they don't teach during the school year. Fun experiments with light, sound, chemistry, and physics (energy, force and motion) will make this camp come alive. Do a real science research project with GA red clay to see how chemistry helps us out in everyday lives. Discover a glowing world under the black light and even take a black light flashlight home to examine more glowing things. Compare and contrast, measured and calculated results to see how accurate these experimental methods are. Cool off from the hot summer as you become a human launch pad for water rockets. While we aren't experimenting, watch Mythbusters© during lunch and enjoy 30 minutes of free time each day with opportunity to explore arts and crafts, Lego™ robotics and games. Take home several of your experiments!
