Sessions of campMODA run Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Design Changes Everything Camp for High School Students (rising 9th-12th graders) will be held June 16 – 20, 2014. Campers will have the opportunity to learn design processes and use them to prototype and test products that can solve important problems in the contemporary world. Students will learn about challenges that can be addressed through design and will use design thinking methodologies to try to solve those problems.

Design Changes Everything Camp for Middle School Students (rising 6th-8th graders) will be held June 30 – July 3, 2014. During this interactive, hands-on design and making camp, middle school campers will have the opportunity to learn about inspiring projects in the realm of social impact design in Atlanta and around the world. Projects will feature design that cares about the end user and design that engages with issues in health, material lifecycle and connecting people.

campMODA LEGO Robotics Camp Ages 6 – 8 participate in LEGO WeDo, a program for children who love to build and take their models to the next level. Working independently, campers build a model and use a computer program to make it move and create sound.

campMODA LEGO Robotics Camp Ages 9 – 14 use the LEGO NXT Robotics system to design, build and program their robots from scratch. Students gain hands-on experience, learning to write their own programs and make their robots perform specific tasks.
