Kids Go Free at The High for "Mi Casa, Your Casa" Opening Weekend

July 18-20 - Experience the Mi Casa, Your Casa installation on the Sifly Piazza, and enjoy these special programs and performances! Kids (17 years and younger) receive FREE admission all three days! (Walk-ups only). Presented in partnership with Instituto de México and glo. All programming is subject to change.


Find Home at the High
Make yourself at home this summer at the High in the interactive setting Mi Casa, Your Casa, located in the center of the Woodruff Arts Center campus on the Sifly Piazza. Join us to play, create and be a part of the art in this welcoming space, where you can watch amazing performances, have a picnic or just lie in a hammock. Come see what you'll discover right in the heart of Midtown!


Friday, July 18:

  •     6 p.m. Mexican music and folk dancing
  •     8:30 to 10 p.m. glo presents “choir B: a physical Installation” - Performance will migrate throughout the Woodruff Arts Center campus and the Piazza
  •     6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pop-up Shop: Megan Daloz Ceramics and URB’n Charm Jewelry

Saturday, July 19:

  •     9 a.m. – Yoga for adults with Isvari Verre; Yoga for ages 5 and up with Cheryl Crawford
  •     10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Family art-making activities, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Instrument Petting Zoo, and performances by the Alliance Theatre’s Theatre for the Very Young and Arts for Learning teaching artists Havana Son
  •     4 to 8:30 p.m. –Performances on the Piazza and Mexican drinks and food for purchase
  •     8:30 to 10 p.m. gloATL performs “choir B: a physical Installation”

Sunday, July 20:

  •     Noon to 4 p.m. – Family art-making activities, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Instrument Petting Zoo, and a performance by Arts for Learning teaching artists Havana Son
